Lumitester

Lumitester

Lumitester for hygiene control and ultrasensitive detection. Simple, fast and effective hygiene control without prior enrichment or incubation. Fluid control, valid for dry and wet surfaces. No inhibition by cleaning residues used on surfaces, thanks to the patented detergent-tolerant Luciferase enzyme. It is the smallest and lightest luminometer on the market.

The patented measurement process of the Lumitester PD-30 luminometer is based on the measurement of bioluminescence, which is displayed when the enzymatic decomposition of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) and Adenosine Monophosphate (AMP) is carried out by luciferase and pyruvate phosphate dikinase (PPDK).

The degree of luminescence is directly proportional to the amount of ATP-AMP existing and can be quantified as Relative Light Units (RLU) thanks to the Lumitester PD-30. The more bioluminescence measured, the higher the degree of impurities. The entire process takes approximately 10 seconds.

Characteristics

  • Auto diagnosis. With self-monitoring function for possible contamination of the measuring cuvette. This function controls the active form of purity of the measuring cuvette.

  • LED Control Swab  (luminometer calibration)

Measurement value about the degree of hygiene

Establish the limit value that is considered valid for the cleaned surface. For flat, smooth surfaces (e.g. glass or metal) the limit value of 200 RLU is usually sufficient. In the case of uneven surfaces (e.g. plastic products or scratches), as a general rule, 500 RLU should not be exceeded. In areas where sterility/higher level of purity must be present, a result of less than 20/50 RLU should be achieved.
